My story
A creative path into products, agentic systems and independent building.
My work sits where technology, human behavior, creativity and business meet.
I’m Ridwan Nasruddin, a product manager, creator and hands-on builder from the Netherlands. I enjoy finding useful connections between technology, creativity and business, especially when a promising idea still needs a clear product direction.
I studied interactive design at SintLucas and Image and Media Technology at HKU University of the Arts. During and after my studies, I helped build Boys with Beards, where I worked across websites, branding, film, motion graphics, music videos and interactive installations. That experience taught me how to move between strategy and execution without losing sight of the audience.
That creative foundation has grown into product and agentic systems work. I now build and improve mobile, web and browser-based products, along with adaptive automation systems that help small teams work more effectively. I’m especially interested in turning new capabilities into simple products and workflows that solve a real problem.
My path has not been linear. After feeling drained by office life, I sold most of what I owned and bought a one-way ticket to Vietnam. I later spent time in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and Thailand. Living and working across cultures changed how I listen, make decisions and design for people whose assumptions differ from my own.
Those experiences also led me to create GRAB A FEED, a food and podcast project built around exchanging perspectives and learning from the people around me.
My aim is simple: keep learning, build useful things and share what works.
Principles
What guides the way I build.
Start with the real problem
A clear customer problem is more valuable than a long feature list.
Make ideas tangible
A useful prototype creates better conversations than another abstract debate.
Learn in public, protect the edge
I share methods and lessons while keeping commercially sensitive product details private.
