Pitch festival

A behind-the-scenes film for Pitch Festival, capturing the people and craft behind its promotional campaign.

The assignment

While working at FESTINA.XXX, I documented the production of the festival’s promotional video and campaign photography. The goal was not to create another polished advertisement, but to show how the campaign itself was made.

Working inside the production

A making-of film depends on access and timing. I needed to stay close enough to capture useful moments without interrupting the crew or asking people to repeat actions for the camera. That meant observing the rhythm of the set, anticipating transitions, and finding small details that revealed the work behind the final images.

Shaping the edit

The raw material covered many people, disciplines, and stages of production. I shaped it into a concise story with a clear sense of movement: preparation, collaboration, execution, and the gradual appearance of the campaign. The edit balances process footage with finished-looking moments so viewers can connect the work to the result.

Why behind-the-scenes content works

The film gives Pitch Festival an additional layer of personality. It turns production into part of the public story, acknowledges the team behind the campaign, and gives audiences a more human view of the brand.
