Fix Point is a mobile repair station where volunteers help neighbourhood residents fix broken products. Visitors do not simply hand over an item; they watch, learn, and take part in the repair.
We developed the concept after researching maker culture and open-source ways of working. The aim was to bring those principles into a physical, local setting: share knowledge, extend the life of useful objects, and give people more control over the things they own.
The project combined service design, community participation, and a practical response to unnecessary waste.
